Product tour analytics show you exactly where users drop off, which steps drive the most engagement, and who's completing your tours. Use this data to improve tour performance and increase the number of users who make it all the way through.
Where to find analytics data
Open your tour in the Editor, then click Analytics in the top bar. You'll see performance data as soon as users start viewing your tour.
Key Metrics Explained
Tour Step Views
The number of times each tour step appeared on screen, whether users interacted with it or not. This includes users who see the same step multiple times.
Unique Tour Step Views
The count of unique users who viewed each step. Each user is counted once per step.
Tour Step Dismissed
Counts when users actively dismiss your tour by clicking the X button or clicking a button configured to dismiss.
Tour Completed
Counts when users reach and view the final step of your tour.
Conversion Rate
The percentage of users who interact with your tour content (clicking buttons, advancing steps) divided by unique users who viewed the tour.
Understanding the Tour Funnel
The funnel visualization shows drop-off between steps, with two bars for each step:
Views (purple): Total times the step appeared
Unique views (teal): Unique users who saw the step
The gap between Step 1 and Step 2 shows how many users didn't continue. Large gaps indicate problem areas where users lose interest or get confused.
