How to Upload Custom Fonts

Upload any custom fonts that you use in Candu's Styleguide so your content looks and feels like your brand!

Custom Fonts

Uploading custom fonts is beneficial for utilizing unique text styles and maintaining the consistency of your branding.

Regardless of where your custom font is hosted, we require a URL link that needs to be pasted into the custom font section of your Styleguide. Please note you will need to do this for each Text type.

ℹ️ If your font is not hosted on a URL, you have the option of self hosting it. A guide on how to do this is here.

Adobe Typekit

Within Adobe Typekit, select the font or font family of your choice. Once you are within the font settings select the Add to Web Project link. Paste this code on a blank page or notepad. Select the URL link within the code. Paste this link into your Styleguide under Text > Custom Font. See our tutorial video below:

Google Fonts

From the Google Font platform select the font family of your choice. Select the Selected Family icon from the top right menu. Copy the URL link within the code shown. Paste the URL in your Custom Font of the Styleguide.

Fontspace.com

Fontspace offers several free fonts. Choose the font you want to upload into your Styleguide. Scroll down below the examples and select the Share icon. Copy the link and paste into your Styleguide under Text > Custom Font.
