Embedding lets you place one piece of content inside another. In Candu, you can:
Reuse Candu experiences you’ve already created such as headers, banners, or checklists.
Pull in content from outside tools (like surveys or booking forms).
How to embed Candu content
In the editor, open the Components tab.
Under Embeds, select Candu Content.
Use the dropdown to choose which piece of content you’d like to embed.
Make sure the content you’re embedding is:
Created as inline content, and
Published without a placement.
Once the content is embedded, you can:
Switch it by selecting the embed and choosing another piece of content from the dropdown.
Filter by segment if your original content has segmentation rules applied.
Open content to view and edit the original piece directly.
When to use embedded Candu content:
To reuse a section across multiple pages or segments. For example, a “What’s New” banner or an onboarding checklist that appears in several dashboards.
To see granular analytics in A/B testing. If you’re running an experiment, create your content as standalone content first, then embed it into the experiment. This way, you’ll still see granular data like interactions and goals while testing variations.
To simplify updates. Any update you make to the embedded content will automatically appear everywhere it’s used.
How to embed iFrames
To add an iFrame:
Drag the iFrame component onto your canvas.
Paste the iFrame URL.
Customize the iFrame’s width, height, and more using the Toolbox.
To preview and test your iFrame's functionality, use the share link.
