Scheduling Content with Segments

Schedule your content to publish and unpublish automatically, useful for holiday messages, feature announcements, time-limited promotions, or any content that should only appear during specific dates.

Before you start: Scheduled content uses the timezone set on the device of whoever created or last edited the segment. If your team works across multiple timezones, check the segment's timezone before scheduling.

To schedule content:

  1. Navigate to Segments

  2. Click Create Segment (or open an existing segment to edit)

  3. Under segment conditions, select Schedule Content as the property

  4. Set your start date:

    • Choose Show After as the operator

    • Select the date and time when content should become visible

(Optional) Set your end date:

  • Click Add Condition

  • Select Schedule Content again as the property

  • Choose Show Until as the operator

  • Select when content should be removed

  • Ensure the rule connector between conditions is AND

Common scheduling scenarios

  • Time-limited campaigns: Use both "Show After" and "Show Until" for automatic start and stop

  • Recurring content: Create separate segments for monthly/seasonal content you'll reuse
