Add YouTube videos to Candu and serve relevant video content to users in-app.

How to Embed YouTube videos

  1. Go to your video library in YouTube.

  2. Open the video you’d like to add to Candu.

  3. Click the “Share” button beneath the video and copy the link shown.

  4. In the Candu Editor, open the content to which you want to add the YouTube video.

  5. Add a player node to the content by dragging one from the media section of the palette on the left side of the page.

  6. Add the YouTube link you copied into the URL bar provided and click the “Add” button. Your video should now appear.

  7. To set the video dimensions, use the width and height selectors on the right-hand side of the screen.

Notes on YouTube Videos:

  • The video must be public to be shared in your Candu content.

  • The video will not start until users click play; however, when the video is finished, it will autoplay unless users have that feature turned off.

  • Views for embedded videos on your site may not register on that video's native platform.
