How to join Hotspot Groups across pages

You can create a journey where a user clicks on a CTA in a Hotspot and gets taken to a new page where another Hotspot Group, Overlay, or other experience is triggered based on clicking that CTA!

To achieve this, you'll need to create your journey's first piece of content, i.e., your Hotspot.

1. Add your CTA with two actions: one that opens a URL (where you'll launch the second experience, e.g. app.candu.ai/workspaces/candu-on-candu/styleguide/Typography/H2) in the same tab and the second dismisses the Hotspot Group. Make sure to add a clear interaction label:

2. Create a segment based on the rule: User Event > [your interaction label for that CTA] > Has occurred:

3. Create the next piece of content in your journey, i.e., another Hotspot Group or an Overlay, and retarget it to the segment you just created (e.g., Next Styleguide Hotspot):

4. Repeat this for as many updates as you need! It can link to any content - Inline, other Hotspot Groups, or Overlays πŸ™Œ
